
Lowell began her acting career with the film Dangerously Close followed by a tiny role in the Robin Williams movie Club Paradise. [4] Her roles included co-starring with Bond girl Pam Bouvier, in the James Bond movie Licence to Kill (1989) as well as the Assistant District Attorney Jamie Ross, in 1996. Also, she appeared in Law & Order for two seasons. In 2005, she appeared in the identical role of Jamie Ross on Law & Order: Trial by Jury. In 2022 she was back on the original show. [6] Prior to landing that role, however she was unhappy in her acting career. She was accepted into New York University's documentary-filmmaking program. [4] She was not acting until the mid-2000s. Lowell gave Lowell her voice and likeness in 2012 when she reprised her Licence to Kill part in the video game 007 Legends. In 2018 she returned to the screen, appearing as a guest on the TV show Blue Bloods. [7][8] Personal life Lowell was married three times. John Stember, a fashion photographer to whom Lowell was first married to, was her third spouse. [9][10] Between 1989 and 1995, she was married to actor Griffin Dunne. She has one daughter, Hannah. [citation needed] Lowell got married to Richard Gere in November 2002 [11] following the birth of their son Homer Jigme Gere. [2] After eleven years of marriage, the couple split in September 2013. The couple were involved in a contentious divorce proceeding in New York Supreme Court for three years. The case was resolved in October of 2016. [13]
